Cromwell Radio Yacht Squadron was formed in 2019 and is based at The Lake Dunstan Boating Club in Cromwell, Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand.
The lake offers a variety of conditions ideal for all types of sailing enthusiasts.
A small but passionate group, the squadron members meet at least once a week primarily with their DF95 Class sailboats (Winter -Sunday at 1pm, Summer- Tuesday at 6pm)
They are always happy to welcome newcomers, share their knowledge, and encourage others to have a go.
Whether you’re a curious passer-by or someone looking to try a new hobby, you’ll find a friendly and supportive group eager to help.

Top sailors from across New Zealand will compete in exciting, fast-paced racing, with the IOM (International One Meter) class designed to handle all winds and conditions. We’re looking forward to a great weekend and invite everyone to come down, watch the action, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Spectators welcome, it's free to watch —bring a picnic and enjoy the racing.
